Annual Mini Tournament

Dear Instructors,

I would like to invite your club to participate in our annual Mini Tournament being held March 14, 2015 at the Crowsnest Consolidated High School in Crowsnest Pass, Alberta. The school is located on HWY. 3 between Coleman and Blairmore.

This will be a one day tournament starting at 8:30 am and ending around 8:00 pm. Please arrive by 8:00 am to keep this start time. This tournament will follow ITF rules. Please email copies of your liability insurance.

Sparring

The sparring competition will be according to belt, weight and age and I will make sure that the rings are made up with fair competition. There will be first, second and thirds, no one will leave our tournament without a sparring trophy.

Patterns

Color belt patterns will be done in a group competition according to belt and first, second and 2 third place medals will be awarded. Black belt will be done according to degree and first second and third place medals will be awarded.

Dinner

There will be a full size lunch/dinner and variety of hot and cold snack foods and drinks onsite. Also, a raffle table and a 50/50 draw. There will be a $7.00 / no charge for children under 10 at the door for non-competitors. A portion of the door fee will go to our students travelling to the World Cup in Budapest Hungary 2016.
